Danehill Climate Group

Climate Group

The Climate Group, set up by the Parish Council, is looking at ways to make our area cleaner, greener and more environmentally friendly. You may have noticed our presence at the village markets, the planting of additional trees on Danehill Recreation Ground and wildflowers planted adjacent to the playground - these are just a few of the initiatives of our group. But what we really want, is to be a representative committee, where your thoughts and ideas are reflected.

What is needed in our community? What do you think about re-greening, wildflowers, community gardens, solar power, allotments, car charging points, heating and insulating our houses, recycling, re-using and repairing, composting, travelling and education? What can we improve upon? What would you like to see changed?

If you have any ideas, please contact us via the Parish Clerk (clerk@danehill-pc.org) or come and see us at the next Village Market and keep in contact via our Facebook page (Danehill and Chelwood Gate Climate Action Group) and the Website.
